Once upon a time there was a
Goddess, she was called Gaya. She had green skin, a long and beautiful blond
hair. She had the power of creation of life and taken care of the nature around
the world.
She was brave and kind,
everyone who saw her, stays nostalgic, calm and happy. They reminded their
childhood, those golden days, and stayed in peace with themselves.
But that is, as always, not
good enough for the humans. They always wanted more and more. They ask her, for
a piece of her hair, and she gladly gave it to them, but with a warning: they
must be respectable and humble, because if she didn’t receive their love, she
wouldn’t be able to continue. She would be sick and sicker, until the whole
living being was sick too.
After that, they saw how
much value was her hair, and they kept asking for more and more and when she
denied, they started to pollute the rivers, dumped their dirty thing on the
ground before so clean. Until she was no more capable to move. They cut of all
of hers hair, selling to people who doesn't even knew its true value, buying
unnecessary things, contaminating the nature with its rests.
A legend says that the rain,
are like tears that Gaya, sad, pours beneath humanity. When strong and stormy,
she’s showing her fury. When light and fleeting, she’s showing your forgiveness.
When needed, she’s showing her mercy, making a new hope flourish. Reminding
humanity, that they still have a chance to do something good.
